How the intervention is performed

The operation is performed under general anaesthesia and lasts on average 2 to 3 hours. Depending on the case, Dr. BAYA uses a closed approach (internal, invisible scars) or an open approach (a discreet scar under the nose). Patients go home the following day in the vast majority of cases.

Recovery

No. With the closed approach scars are internal; with the open approach, the scar is minimal under the columella and becomes virtually invisible over time.
