How the intervention is performed
Under local anaesthesia (or general in children), the intervention lasts 1 to 1h30. The scar is hidden in the groove behind the ear and is therefore invisible.
Recovery
A compression headband is worn for a few days then at night for 2 to 3 weeks. Return to activities is quick. The result is permanent and stable.
